My name is Deborah Cartall, and I own Visiting Nurses of Del Rio Inc, a Home Health Agency located in Del Rio Texas, Val Verde County. My business has been in existence since 1983. In the fall of 2004, I hired Mr. Craig Neumeyer to design, and build a new office building. Mr. Neumeyer advised that I use SIPS panels in my building, and to use any and every option available to us for the purpose of saving energy costs in the day to day maintenance of the building. Over the years I have seen a trend towards rising electric and gas bills, and was receptive to this idea.

Now that the building is complete, and I have occupied it for two months now, I have the following observations on this new way of building.

  1. The cost of electricity for this 4400 sq. foot building is one half what I was paying for my old building that had 2200 sq.ft. I can also add that while waiting to move into the new building, we rented another office with 1700 sq.ft. and the electric bills were within $150 and $200 of the cost of electricity in the new building.
  2. The new building feels solid and sound, unlike any structure I have experienced. It is quiet, and often times, if it is raining or an ambulance drives by, we do not hear it. The fluorescent lighting has two levels of power, and is extremely easy to work under.

I am extremely happy with the fact that this type of construction has saved me money in electric bills, and with the rising costs of electricity, it will keep saving me money for years to come.

Craig literally created a beautiful home for us. He did the architectural work, the engineering, acted as general contractor, and when necessary, did skilled labor in all fields.

Since we lived 225 miles from the site, it was imperative that we have full faith and trust in the general contractor. Craig performed above our greatest expectations. Things could not have gone better and there were periods of adversity for Craig which he handled on his own.

I cannot praise this young man too highly and would be glad to talk with anyone fortunate enough to obtain his services.
